The OSU Rugby Club will be holding the fifth annual Dr. Spence Meighan memorial golf tournament, barbecue and auction August 21 at the Stone Creek Golf course in Oregon City.  This has rapidly become our largest fund raiser and we are looking to build on the success of the past three years.

The OSU men's rugby ream held it's annual end of year BBQ and awards banquet on May 8th.  Players were presented with their varisty letters and team awards were announced.  Photos of the event are viewable in the photo gallery. Congratulations to the letter and award winners!

As we look forward to the 2010-2011 season, we are currently in the training process for next year's officers.  The new officers include Alex Mcelfish as the new Travel Czar, Robert Kennedy as the new Treasurer, Sean Mcfadden as the new Public Relations Officer, and Tim Martin as the new Social Chair.  Returning officers include Cameron Mcdonnell as Secretary, Jake Helbling as Field General, Zach Heath as Rookie Liason, Kansas Mendelson as Vice President, and Anthony Newbold as President.

In the spring offseason, we are conducting skills practices on Tuesday and Thursday at Peavy Field (30th and Jefferson) from 4 PM to 6 PM.  We also play touch at the same time and location on Monday and Wednesday every week.  Anyone who is interested in learning a little about the game and/or possibly joining our team is highly encouraged to make an appearance this spring as the offseason is the best time for learning new skills and furthering your knowledge of the game.
