2011 New Zealand Tour E-mail

In September of 2011, the Oregon State University men's rugby club will be touring New Zealand including Hamilton, Wellington, Queenstown, and Christchurch.  New Zealand is the latest tour for the club, which has given the opportunity to a number of players to see new parts of the world and enjoy the game of rugby overseas.  Making a tour like this happen is no small feat, and the club is working hard to raise money to cover the costs.  Below are a number of ways you can help send OSU rugby to New Zealand.

Donate online to the OSU Foundation

Donating to OSU Rugby is now easier than ever!  You can now donate securely online to both the OSU Rugby Team Fund and the Valley Memorial Rugby Endowment Fund through the OSU Foundation website. The Rugby Team Fund which is a separate fund to be used for the upcoming tour to New Zealand.  The Endowment Fund helps to build our endowment through the Patrick Wayne Valley Memorial Endowment Fund. The New Zealand trip is an amazing opportunity for the young men on the team and for those who have had a chance to tour themselves in the past, hopefully you remember the generous donations that allowed the club's previous tours.  Every dollar helps, and your donation tax deductible come tax season. Thanks in advance for your support.

To donate, click on one of the funds below which will take you to the OSU Foundation website to make your donation.

OSU Rugby Pasta-Thon

All you need to do is go eat at Pastini on 9th St. in Corvallis. And when you are done with your meal tell your waiter or waitress that you would like to participate in the OSU Rugby Pasta-Thon. At the end of the two days 50% of the net proceeds that Pastini earns will go to the club.  So please bring your family, bring your friends, or just bring a stranger. Eat at Pastini at any time of the day on January 31st or February 1st and help the OSU rugby team have a once in a lifetime experience in New Zealand.
