Woody Bennet Coaches Choice Award This trophy was named for long time OSU Rugby Coach Woody Bennet. Woody was a tremendously inspirational coach getting the most out of his players on the field while teaching them to always be Gentlemen off the field. This award is given by the coaches to the player or players who most exemplify the true sprity of rugby on and off the field

Oregon Rugby Sports Union Most Improved Player Award
This award was named to honor the Oregon Rugby Sports Union which has consistently helped Oregon State financially, with coaching, and most importantly by being the driving force behind the formation and development of Oregon Youth Rugby.

Grant Patton Outstanding First Year Player Award
Grant Patton played for Oregon State 1967 through 1971 and was killed in Hawaii on a U.S. Naval training flight.

Wayne Valley Most inspirational Player Award This award was named in honor of Patrick Wayne Valley Jr. Wayne Valley played rugby with great enthusiasm and spirit at Oregon State from 1966 through 1969. Wayne was tragically killed in a swimming accident in 1969. His parents Wayne and Gladys Valley established the OSU Rugby Endowment Fund in Wayne Jr.'s name. The Valley family has continued to support Oregon State Rugby throughout the years. It is only fitting that our most important award be named in honor of Wayne Valley Jr.
